Natural and lab-grown diamonds examined under neutral studio light

The Nicotalya Standard

Beyond the certificate.

A grading report organizes information. Beauty is also experienced through light, proportion, presence, and the way a diamond belongs to a design.

Two Origins. One Standard.

Choose the origin. We help you choose the beauty.

Natural and lab-grown diamonds form differently. Neither choice defines the House. We explain origin, grading, tradeoffs, and visual character clearly so the right choice can reflect your priorities.

What We Consider

Cut and light behavior

Proportions and symmetry

Color and clarity

Measurements and face-up presence

Fluorescence where relevant

Compatibility with the design

Center and accent origin choices

Overall visual balance

Report & Eye

What the paper says. What the eye sees.

A grading report may record measurements and characteristics such as color, clarity, carat weight, proportions, polish, symmetry, and fluorescence. GIA or IGI reporting may apply depending on the individual diamond; not every stone should be assumed to carry the same laboratory report.

Visual evaluation adds context: how efficiently the stone returns light, how its outline presents, whether its proportions suit the setting, and how its character feels in motion.

Craftsmanship

Proportion. Security. Finish. Comfort. Dimension.

The center diamond and accent diamonds can have independent origins where a design supports that choice. Every element is then considered as part of one composition—from secure setting and refined finishing to profile, wearability, and balance.
